INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR AFRICA !

 

Half of the world population is living in poverty, there is a big need for people who will make an effort to improve the living conditions in this One World.
The One World Volunteer Institute in Norway (A Travelling "Folk" High School) educates International volunteers to humanitarian projects in Africa

14 months program.

-6 months preparations at Den reisende Høgskole - One World Volunteer Institiute in Norway.
-6 months volunteer work in Mozambique, Angola, South Africa, Zambia, Namibia or another country. This together with DAPP (Development Aid for People to People)

You will work within one of the following areas:

*Work as a teacher at a Street Children school
*Build latrines, school and water cleaning systems
*Organize and lead AIDS campaigns
*Educate and support the rural population how to improve their health situation
*Run Child Houses for pre-school children
*Develop the agricultural project "From Substencional to Comercal farming" together with local farmers.
*Create development by working with income generating projects

The work is carried out in close cooperation with the local population.

-2 months evaluation and information work in Europe.

Qualifications needed:
Motivation, hard working, flexibility and willingness to learn and cooperate

Boarding expences at the school, free food, housing and pocket money in Africa. Scholarships avaliable.
